How is it going, really? Which life issues do you want to manage more effectively? As a counselor/coach, I journey with you toward a deeper understanding of what has you "stuck". Psychotherapy is about tapping into your hidden strengths, clarifying your goals and getting you "unstuck". I help folks find relief from anxiety, depression, grief/loss, trauma, insomnia, addictions or relational conflicts. Working 20 years in social services and behavioral health, I'm always inspired when challenges open the door to growth, positive change and resilience. I work with individuals, couples, parents, and groups using approaches tailored to you. My training includes: Mindfulness, CBT, Emotion-focused, Somatic, Motivational Interviewing, EMDR, Coaching. I specialize in coping with illness; unresolved grief, traumatic loss, pet loss; transitions, divorce, estrangement, adoption, infertility, pregnancy, parenting, relocation, careers, college, work/school issues, relationships, sexuality, addictions, phobias, insomnia, sexual abuse, Veterans, PTSD, ADHD, OCD, Bipolar, Depression. I utilize current modalities that integrate mind, body, emotions and spirit. In addition to traditional talk therapy, choose from expressive arts, grounding, stress reduction techniques, meditation, Reiki, dreamwork, metaphor cards, or sand play to reconnect with your authentic self.
