Are you searching for a place to heal and progress to your fullest potential? I help individuals dealing with loss, life transitions, and mood disorders, including anxiety and depression, as well as survivors of childhood trauma. My gentle, wholistic psychoanalytic approach, is based in the work of C.G. Jung, who emphasizes the search for meaning and wholeness. I have more than fifteen years experience in dream work, mindfulness, and the creative process. I also work to help release creative or emotional blocks. I am an analyst member of the Inter-Regional Society of Jungian Analysts and the International Association of Analytic Psychologists. My nursing background contributes an awareness of the impact of physical issues upon psychological health. Memories, emotions, experiences without words are stored in the unconscious; accessing the wisdom of the unconscious can lead to deep self-understanding, greater emotional and physical health, and more genuine involvement with all of life. My life and work experiences also include writing, painting, a master's in Renaissance Literature, teaching literature and composition at the college level, raising three children, and living a varied and adventurous life. All of this enriches both my practice and my empathy with my clients.
