I have long been fascinated by human behavior, sensitive to responses of pain and joy. In trying to understand relationships, in assisting with the home care of an aging relative, in confronting my own issues of self esteem, I have felt a connection to those who face challenges in ordinary daily living. My empathy toward clients who bear emotional and physical burdens has led me to this path of such life-giving work. My desire for the other is to support, encourage, and celebrate, as the person can move from pain to comfort, tolerance to acceptance. I design a plan of action to reduce stress and increase well being by applying Positive Psychology, and other evidence based approaches. I help my clients find the answers to turn wounds into wisdom, and stress into peace. Together, we will identify your goals and strategies for self-empowerment, discovery and personal development. I am a Certified Positive Psychology Coach® candidate at School of Coaching Mastery. No other school or certifying body has permission to award this credential. It is an intensive program that fully integrates positive psychology, neuroscience, and other evidence-based approaches with advanced coaching techniques. The school is ICF approved.
