I work with individuals, couples, and families to gain insight and overcome obstacles in their lives. I am bilingual in Spanish and have experience with a wide range of issues such as trauma, depression, life transitions and relational issues. I work with immigration issues and assessments and I am skilled at finding the fine balance of creating a safe environment while challenging unhealthy patterns at the same time. I believe in a holistic approach to treatment and focus on increasing my clients' self-awareness, facilitating personal growth, and creating enriching relationships. My specialties include sex and intimacy issues, sexual trauma, and premarital counseling. I take an integrative and collaborative approach to therapy which is client centered and goal driven. I create a safe and non-judgmental environment where I can challenge clients to explore their issues and modify unhealthy patterns. Introspective Family Therapy provides services that may look different than traditional psychotherapy. We incorporating different modalities and work with clients to understand their needs. We create an approach for each client and have found success in treating anxiety/phobias. I believe everyone should have access to therapy so I provide a sliding scale if needed.
