Depressed? Anxious? Need Relationship help? Need to resolve trauma? I can help. Meeting the needs and challenges of my clients is what counseling is all about for me. I believe that people who come to see me should leave with the tools they need to create the lives they want to live. As a down-to-earth, interactive therapist, my treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients resolve problems in the present, and long-standing patterns of behavior that are hindering them from the past. I am passionate about marriage and families. I believe that we are only as healthy and happy as the relationships we participate in. I work with emotional issues, mental disorders, and relationship issues. Many of my clients have trauma histories that are affecting their personal relationships and work relationships. I combine alternative and traditional approaches to create what is most helpful. I am trained in EMDR for trauma resolution, hypnosis and guided imagery for stress relief/ relaxation, and Neurofeedback to provide a non-medical approach to anxiety, depression, and ADHD. I blend Gottman and Emotionally Focused Therapy for marital counseling.
