Welcome! I am a licensed psychologist who provides psychotherapy for individual adults, couples, and families. I specialize in the treatment of trauma and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) as well as in couples therapy and helping partners find joy in their relationship again. In addition to my specializations, I have a general practice and have experience working with a variety of other issues including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, relationship issues, substance abuse, chronic pain, and stress/anger management. I love working with military members, veterans, and families who are affected by combat and deployment-related stress. Having worked in a VA medical setting, I have experience providing psychotherapy to service members from all war eras (especially Iraq and Afghanistan). It is an honor to serve those who have given so much. I use evidence-based cognitive-behavioral therapy approaches to reduce symptoms and improve overall functioning. I have significant experience in providing Prolonged Exposure Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy for a variety of different traumas including combat/deployment trauma, sexual assault/rape, physical assaults, robberies/gunshot wounds, car accidents, natural disasters, and other accidents.
