I have been a licensed therapist in RI and Ma for29years. My Private Practice is on the East Side of Providence near Wayland Square. Finding someone to talk to about your most private life circumstances, whether it be relationship issues,parenting concerns, dealing with illness, job uncertainties, various losses or trauma, requires an environment of safety that is built on trust and confidentiality. My approach to my work,is to build on the strengths and inner resources of the Individual and to assist in the process of uncovering the various options and barriers for healing and problem solving. I have raised a family of my own,have been involved in various community supports (especially re: AIDS services) and was in (2007) given the honor of being named "Social Worker of the Year" by the Rhode Island Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers.
