I believe I must listen carefully to your story and arrive at an understanding of your unique circumstances in order to assist you on your therapeutic journey. If I can earn your trust, we can work together to affect those problems, anxieties, fears, oppressive moods, and unproductive patterns of thinking which have become your seeming nemesis. During 40 years of practice as a psychologist, I have worked with people with a wide range of problems and from many walks of life. My specialty is working with people struggling with post traumatic stress disorder, phobias, and anxiety. I like to work with adults of all ages. I frequently employ clinical hypnosis and model my hypnosis approach after the work of Milton H. Erickson, M.D. I was also trained in Neurolinguistic Programming to the Master Practitioner level and I teach NLP strategies for building adaptive resources whenever it is appropriate.
