About Our Facility Located on approximately 39 acres in Schickshinny, PA, Clearbrook Lodge offers patients a rustic, peaceful environment where you will learn about sobriety. Our intimate meeting rooms offer the ideal setting for group sessions and small group discussions. Patient rooms are semi-private and are situated in the main building along side a beautiful stream. We believe a patient's progress in treatment is hindered when isolated and that having a roommate leads to a richer, deeper treatment experience. Comfortable common areas are available for patient use during reflection periods and leisure time. The facility's dining room has recently been renovated and has a warm open feel with tasty and nutritious meals prepared daily by our full time executive chef and his team. Our 10,000 sq. ft. Recovery Dome will be used for exercise and recreational purposes, as well as for meetings, special events and alumni gatherings. Detox Clearbrook Lodge operates a detox unit designated for detoxification from sedative, stimulant drugs and/or opiate drugs. The Medical Director is board certified by The American Board of Addiction Medicine since 1988 and has almost 30 years of experience in the field of addiction. He has designed detoxification protocols to help our clients ease their transition from active addiction to abstinence. We have a team of skilled nurses, Physician Assistant's, and Registered Nurse Practitioners who will attend to the medical needs of clients at this level of care. We are staffed with Pennsylvania Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselors who have years of experience in the field of addiction treatment. They are complimented by a very dedicated group of Drug and Alcohol Treatment Technicians who also work directly with the clients. This country setting, coupled with an atmosphere of compassion and firmness, surrounded by people who understand since they have been there themselves, can be a very safe place to begin a road to recovery. Family Program Addiction has a tremendous impact on those who love or are involved with the addicted person. We feel strongly that loved ones play an integral role in the recovery process. Upon admission, residents will be assigned to a Clinical Treatment Team. This team will consist of a Primary Counselor and a Case Manager. Our Executive Director, Clinical Director, Medical Director, Nursing Team, Clinical Psychologist and Family Program Staff will participate as part of each team. These professionals will guide residents through the entire process to make for a productive treatment experience. A member of this Treatment Team will contact loved ones with updates on the resident's progress. Family Program staff will also be in contact with loved ones to help construct a compatible recovery approach addressing the concerns of the family. Through our Family Program, loved ones will have the opportunity to build knowledge and understanding of the disease of addiction and the process of recovery. Personalized to meet the needs of our Lodge community, the Family Program seeks to restore some health to the family relationships.
