My area of specialty is trauma, those suffering with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and the families and friends of those suffering with PTSD. I also work with those who struggle with depression, grief, anxiety, life adjustments, life stressors, life coaching, and a variety of other issues. Mended Wing Counseling, LLC offers several DBT therapy groups, which provides life skills training. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is most often referenced to Military (active duty, reserve, and veterans). I work with those individuals, as well as their families and friends. They are often forgotten about, but it is not just those suffering with the illness that require attention and care. Commonly, those who suffer with PTSD have dual (or more) diagnoses, and we can work together to address each issue. We work with a sliding fee scale, so that those who seek counseling are able to obtain it. Additionally, I work with a treatment team, for a well rounded treatment.
