I have been in the practice of assisting adults, children and families since 2000 with issues varying from school/academic problems to marital discord. As a doctorate level clinician I am more than equipped and trained to work with clients who are experiencing residual emotional/mental/behavioral effects from work issues, depression, anxiety, family conflict, marital discord, families in transition, current and past trauma (ie. childhood, sexual abuse, violence). My specialty and research areas are Postpartum Mood Disorders and Trauma. I assist clients in adjusting to the unexpected anxiety and depression associated with Postpartum mental health issues. Additionally, I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and work with many clients who have been exposed to trauma. I maintain a very comfortable and discreet atmosphere. It is my belief that rapport and trust between me and my clients are of the utmost importance. I believe that to be competent in my field means I must stay abreast with current therapy trends and practices at all times. I love this work!
