Are you feeling anxious and overwhelmed with life? Do you feel like you need to make a change in your life but don't know how? I have been practicing for the past 14 years working with adolescents and adults clinically and in a school setting. Currently, I work with many college students coping with transitional issues and academic related stress. I help people identify how to make positive change to improve their quality of life or cope with a difficult situation through trying times. Although my approach varies with every individual, I help my client create goals and identify behavioral patterns that may be interfering with achieving inner happiness and success. Through cognitive behavioral strategies and mindfulness techniques, I work with my client to reduce stress, cope with anxiety, and work through depression. Currently, I am in the process of training my golden retriever to be a therapy dog, and he can join sessions with client approval. It is my goal to help people by empowering them to learn strategies to improve relationships, problem solve difficult decisions and live a productive life with intention.
