My philosophy for all of the work that I do is rooted in the belief that we are all capable of being empowered individuals that can manifest what we seek in our personal, professional, relational, and spiritual lives. I believe that life is a spiritual experience and that discovering meaning and purpose are of utmost importance to overall well being. I am committed to treating the "whole" person and believe in the connection between mind, body, and spirit. Healing comes when we truly discover our own personal value and worth, find the purpose in experience, and learn to live fully. I have been licensed provide psychotherapy to individuals struggling with emotional distress or some areas of dysfunction since 2004. I have actively worked with individuals living with HIV/AIDS, those who identify as LGBTQ, and people struggling with addictions, and am passionate about promoting the well being of these communities. Although my focus is healing, I believe that focusing on strengths and positive aspects of life/experience is key to making progress. My professional stance is to meet my client(s) where they are at. You heal you. I guide you and provide a safe space to do the work.
