Action Recovery Group Drug/Alcohol Addiction Rehab The Action Recovery Group addiction treatment team has more than 100 years of combined experience working in the alcohol and drug addiction field. We have a highly qualified and experienced professional staff that provides the most appropriate level of care and counseling tailored to the needs of each individual. Action Recovery Group provides the following services: Free Clinical Assessments, Outpatient Medical Detox, Intensive Outpatient Treatment, Family Program, Aftercare Services, and 12-step Recovery Groups. Our Intensive Outpatient programs include Day Treatment and an Evening program. Clients who complete treatment at Action are eligible for 24 months of one-evening-per-week of Aftercare at no additional cost. Action Recovery Group Outpatient Treatment Action Recovery Group's Intensive Outpatient programs provide a highly effective, compassionate, and accessible source for drug and alcohol treatment in Weber, Davis & Cache Counties and the Ogden area. The program is completely confidential and helps individuals find ways to rebuild their emotional, physical, psychological, and spiritual lives through highly effective therapy and behavior-change methods. The result is long-term sobriety and moving forward to live happy, successful, fulfilling lives. Action Recovery Group's practice is based on tested and proven therapy and treatment methods including the Brain Science of Behavior-Change, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotion Processing, Group Therapy and the practice of 12-Step principles. We believe strongly that ongoing participation in 12-Step Support Groups is essential for long-term, lasting recovery. Action Recovery Provides Free Clinical Assessments Action Recovery Group drug and alcohol treatment center offers free clinical assessments for residents in Weber, Davis, Morgan, and Cache Counties. The potential client will be fully screened either in person or by phone and the assessment will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Part of the assessment process includes doing a complete history ranging from types of substance use, frequency of use, and length of use. We also discuss the impact the potential client's substance abuse has had on family, social, employment, legal, psychological, housing, transportation and spiritual aspects of their life. Each of these areas are part of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) criteria and are evaluated by our clinical staff to determine appropriate level of care as well as a DSM IV diagnosis (Diagnosis and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders).
