I am passionate about helping others. I enjoy working with individuals, couples and families. My own family has been effected by mental illness, addiction and family issues. I believe that my personal life experiences combined with my education have enabled me to have a great deal of empathy for others. My philosophy of treatment is to work together with my clients to understand their particular needs, life ambitions and obstacles to progress. I adapt the length and intensity of therapy to my clients' needs. Therefore, I am equally comfortable with doing brief psychotherapy or long-term psychotherapy. Regardless of the particular approach, I place sensitivity, empathy, and appreciation of clients' strengths first.
