I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Registered Play Therapist. I have a systemic approach to therapy in that I not only help resolve issues with the child but also with the whole family. I teach parents how to use Play Therapy Attending Skills to build a better relationship with their child so that their child will become more independent, confident, and cooperative. I have an office with a two-way mirror by which I can communicate using my headset with the parent who is wearing a blue-tooth device. Giving parents immediate feedback helps them to learn therapeutic attending skills quickly. My specialty is Play Therapy and helping children resolve issues related to grief, anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. I am also a competent Marriage Counselor and help couples to not only communicate more effectively but also confront and resolve the issues they have avoided from their childhood.
