I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC) licensed in South Carolina and Ohio who has extensive counseling experience with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, drug/alcohol abuse/addiction, sexual and identity struggles, existential crises, relationships, inappropriate behavior, anger, autism, intellectual disability, skill building, sexually aggressive individuals, sexually abused, reunification processes of families, and difficulties related to religious or spiritual matters. I am working on developing an alternative wilderness and adventure approach to therapy assisting individuals in personal growth in the areas of building trust, confidence, communication skills, overcoming anxiety and fear, stress management, enhancing spirituality and problem-solving skills. I consider one of the areas I feel most called to is the restoration of those who have suffered sexual abuse as a child, adolescent, or adult. Alongside of this, I enjoy working with those who struggle with addiction, sexual issues, identity, confusion, anger management, and spiritual matters. I have a firm belief that engaging individuals in natural settings is a conduit for maximum therapeutic benefit and healing. I am currently working on developing a wilderness and adventure therapy track to address areas of trust, confidence, communication deficits, anxiety, fear, stress, spirituality, and problem-solving skills.
