If you are looking to resolve conflicts, are faced with a difficult decision, enormous loss, debilitating emotional states, lack of satisfaction in relationships or life, consider therapy. Understanding past experiences and emotional reactions to current stressors can have a profound impact on the choices we make and the way we live. Insight and self-reflection are intimately tied to our capacity to make lasting changes in our thoughts and behaviors. I use both talk therapy and art therapy techniques to address mood disorders, academic stress, career dilemmas, life stage transitions, LGBTQ issues, relationship difficulties, learning differences, grief and loss. People come to me for a variety of reasons, each with their unique constellation of strength, resiliency, and obstacles. I bring a special awareness of issues related to birth and death, diversity in culture, sexual orientation and race as well as the challenges of learning disabilities. My private practice focus is working with young adults 18-25 and the developmental challenges they face in the context of today's socioeconomic climate. In addition to Rhode Island, I am licensed in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Maine. I am not taking new clients at present but will with the start of the academic year.
