I have been a counselor for over 10 years and I am continually encouraged by growth that I witness. I cannot do my job without you, my client. The client is the most important person in the counseling process and through the confidential communication between me and my client, change and growth can happen. I worked with sexual and physical abuse victims and their families for almost 6 years. I grew up overseas, so as someone that was considered the minority, I am sensitive to different cultural needs that my client may have.
