As a psychologist, I thrive on challenges. I specialize in comprehensive and court-ordered psychological assessments for juveniles and adults. I have many years of experience testifying in court. My forensic referrals come from judges, private attorneys, public defenders, and State and Federal Public Defenders across Indiana. Typical referrals include youth or adults involved with probation or DCS with mental health concerns, court-ordered competency or insanity assessments, sex offender risk assessments, and post-conviction relief. Additionally, after many years of working with youth in residential treatment, I have developed expertise with children/adolescents with severe emotional and behavioral disturbances. In therapy, I primarily use Trauma-focused CBT, CBT, psychodynamic therapy, play therapy, and family systems therapy to help my clients. I keep up to date on evidence-based interventions and prefer an integrative approach to meet the specific needs of my clients. I have some fluency in Spanish and enjoy working with families of all ethnicities and sexual orientations. I value diversity of all types.
