As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I am able to assess, diagnose and provide medication management to all ages. When prescribing medication for any child or adult it is important to take into consideration the mind, body, spirit connection. Differentiating between what needs psychiatric medication versus issues that are best treated by other specialties or modalities is extremely important to me in order to best serve the individual. I work with children, teens and adults; specializing in children through young adults who suffer from ADD/ADHD, depression, anxiety and autism. I understand that other healing modalities can be very useful, often promoting profound changes on a different level from traditional allopathic medicine. I welcome families that integrate these other modalities into their lives. My hope is that when one arrives at my office, that it is only part of an ongoing journey to attain better health.
