I see therapy as a collaborative journey of self-discovery in that insight is developed and self-awareness is increased. Along the journey ways of becoming un-stuck are discovered and life situations become more manageable through the development of new perspectives and life skills. I work with individuals struggling with issues of self-esteem and self-worth, relationship issues, grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance abuse. I also have experience working with individuals with mood and personality disorders, and sexual and/or gender identity issues. I enjoy helping those who chose to work with me develop self-understanding and self-awareness, and along the journey understanding that each one of us is responsible for creating their circumstances in life and finding meaning in our experiences.
