I am a certified and licensed social worker in the State of KY with a Master's Degree plus additional hours towards an Educational Specialist Degree, (Ed. S), a post master's degree. As a therapist, I can assess, diagnose, and treat mental and psychological issues and disorders in both children and adults. I treat individuals, families, and provide group services. I have specialized training in adoption, abuse, addictions, custody, personality disorders, foster care, school related issues, and trauma. I also completed mediation training at the SIU School of Law, have been trained specially for conducting Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as well as trained by the Group Training Institute for Group Psychotherapy. My extensive professional career has consisted of currently being the Executive Director of Emerald Therapy Center, LLC, a counseling center, founder of two child advocacy centers, one located in Illinois and one in Kentucky. I was an adjunct instructor at SIC college, teaching undergraduate classes in counseling and child development.
