Counseling is a very personal experience and is a progression of growth and clarity. People come to counseling because they may have a personal or family situation, need to solve a particular problem, or just want to bring a healthier balance to their lives. The process can be insightful and hopeful where as a client you will feel validated, listened to, and supported. Counseling helps provide awareness and allows people to be truly authentic and genuine. Every person has a unique inner world and how we deal with life's challenges makes us who we are. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I work with adults, teenagers, and children. I provide a safe and open environment where clients can gain insight and support to overcome whatever difficulty they may be having. In the end the client makes the decision to move forward, I am there to help guide that genuine process. I am also a Licensed School Counselor that has allowed me to have insight into the needs of all students. As a therapist I will also advocate for the needs of my clients to work through transitions and as they reinvent themselves.
