My background and interests are diverse. I embrace challenge and appreciate each individual I have the opportunity to work with. My approach is solution oriented with a strong emphasis on Positive Psychology. I enjoy working with clients who are looking for a Psychologist who will guide and assist them in coping with physical,emotional and spiritual problems which impact their quality of life. My style has been described as warm, integrated and compassionate. Therapy for pain control focuses on enabling clients to regain joy, pleasure and quality of life. Working with pre/ post surgical stressors, administering pre-bariatric surgery screening, interviewing, reporting and counseling are integrated in commitment to mental health and wellness. Treatment for Rape and PTSD includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in conjunction with Positive Psychology. I consider Psychotherapy/Counseling to be an opportunity to make a difference. Each Session is planned and designed to fit the unique personal needs of each individual. I have been a Christian all of my life and welcome opportunities to integrate a spiritual component to therapy when requested to do so.
