As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I see how the family interacts as a whole. I believe that our history is what makes us who we are. Therapy is helpful when we are overwhelmed, confused and struggling. This can include depression, anxiety, and life changing events. It is necessary for my patient to feel heard and not judged. It is important for me to understand your story and your goals for the future. The therapeutic approach that I use is flexible and eclectic. It is important to find the approach that will help guide you to reach your objectives. I have extensive experience and training in working with young adults and teenagers in overcoming difficulties with substance abuse, depression, promiscuity, school difficulties, low self-esteem, setting boundaries, trauma, adoption, and family communication problems. I also help parents increase their ability to set and maintain healthy boundaries with their child. I look forward to the journey that lies ahead. I believe that it is my role as a therapist to work myself out of a job by teaching my patients what they need to know to be successful.
