I provide psychotherapy for adults struggling with depression, loss, anxiety, confusion, fears, decision-making, and relationship and family problems. I help people cope better with current difficulties, understand origins and "triggers" for such difficulties, and learn to recognize when they are at risk for and minimize distress. My goal is to help people feel a sense of relief and control over their lives. I am happy to work with medical doctors to coordinate care when medication is recommended or indicated. I have 20+ years experience teaching and providing psychotherapy with a variety of people in community mental health, social services, nursing facilities, higher education and international settings.
