A mentor once told me, 'Wise people seek counseling.' It is my belief that everyone can use some extra help once in a while, big or small. I enjoy meeting with people to help them reach their full potential. I am ready to listen to you, and want to help you be able to find a higher level of satisfaction in your life. Specifically, I work with people seeking help with depression, anxiety, survivors of abuse (physical, mental, emotional, sexual), grief and loss, sexual addictions (i.e., pornography), anger management, relationship issues, and divorce. The most common theories of counseling I use are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I have also been trained and certified in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) and Integration Based Stress Reduction (IBSR). Be sure to ask for me by name.
