My therapy approach focuses mainly on working with adults, adolescents, couples and families in solution focused therapies and cognitive behavioral therapies. Combining these modalities along with integrative, interpersonal, and transpersonal psychotherapies is incorporated to tailor counseling sessions to my clients' needs. My goals in therapy are to find the sources of the negative thoughts, feelings and behaviors that are causing blocks to a functional life style. I like to use a collaborative approach with my clients in order to explore a client's strengths and to help educate the client on new methods of coping with life's challenges. I have experience in working with people who are going through major life changes and are finding it difficult to cope and function in their new environment or life situation. It is my goal is to help clients find their strengths and learn new coping skills. I am also available to do workshops and seminars on a multitude of different topics related to mental health and stress reduction for your workplace or group gatherings.
