Do you know your heart matters? It requires courage to explore your heart's history with another. And, it's natural to feel uncertain when searching for help with your concerns. Whether you are seeking a solution, or acceptance of something without a solution, psychotherapy offers a unique space for attention, acceptance, exploration, and growth. I am a licensed counselor, psychotherapist, and teacher who enjoys listening to the hearts of others. I love providing a safe, accepting, confidential space for clients to explore their life stories, share their pain, and learn to honor and interpret their heart's deepest desires My approach is psychodynamic, meaning I will work with you to discover how the past patterns and themes of your life may be contributing to your present difficulty. I am also solution-focused, meaning I will work with you to identify causes and quickly reduce distress or unwanted symptoms. I have worked as a therapist since 2008 when I received a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. I have specialized experience with grief/loss, abuse, trauma, eating disorders, relational issues, addiction, mood disorders, and spiritual questions.
