Thank you for your interest in my practice. I believe that people seek out therapy because they want to lead happier and more fulfilling lives, but feel trapped by uncertainty, fear, hurt or pain. We can also get 'stuck' in our usual ways of being, so the idea of change can seem overwhelming and even impossible. This can become painfully apparent when we are unable to accomplish change or face life challenges effectively on our own. I believe that therapy can offer the opportunity to navigate through the challenges. Choosing the right therapist is important. I see therapy as a journey where together we can identify early patterns that have led to your current distress and turmoil, and to navigate your way towards making more positive and enduring change towards a successful journey towards self-discovery, healing and personal growth. I am licensed to practice as a Clinical Psychologist, with Health Service Provider status, in the State of Tennessee. I have worked extensively with trauma, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, behavioral issues, personality disorders, relationship and family issues, grief and loss, anger issues, and multicultural issues.
