Are you struggling with family conflict, marriage and relationship issues? Perhaps you are single parenting, and responsibilities on your job, at home, and conflict with your children seem overwhelming; maybe pain from your past prevents you from moving into your future. I assist families in working-through the circumstances we often find ourselves in. My specialty is family relationship-building. I work with adults, families and children. An often asked question: "How can I help my family when it's such a struggle to address my own concerns?" I'd like to assist with the important emotional decisions and changes in your life. We use Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) with young children (2-7 years) to address disruptive behaviors; with school-age children (8-12 years); and with adolescents who are angry, abused, and have experienced trauma and grief. Caregivers need more skill to be successful in these relationships. Raising emotionally healthy children is a challenge. I work with couples, individuals, and single parents struggling with conflict in their marriage, with a significant other, and in family relationships; with at-risk families where children experience domestic violence and child maltreatment. We do prevention therapy. Early intervention helps. Adaptions of Pipeline's programs work well with children and families in military service.
