Is your child struggling to follow your direction? Does your teen's moodiness seem out of control? Has your child recently had a change in behavior at school or at home? Does your child experience a lot of worry and fear? I am here to help. As west Georgia's only Registered Play Therapist, I use a mix of play, expressive art, and talk therapy to help kids express and work through their feelings. I offer creative counseling and psychotherapy services with one single, passionate goal: To encourage your child and your family to become "unstuck," thrive, and enjoy life! Play Therapy is a specific type of counseling to help kids. Kids are generally referred to play therapy because of behavioral problems at home or at school. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Addiction Counselor, and Registered Play Therapist, I use specially chosen toys and various other medium (e.g., sand tray, puppets, dollhouse, drawing, painting) to help children and teens "play out" or express and resolve feelings and experiences. I help kids heal, and I look forward to helping your child.
