My approach to counseling is based on the integration of my professional psychological training and personal experience. I personally have overcome abuse and addictions in my own life and know the power of counseling with the help of God. I believe we were created to live in healthy relationships and I love working with people to live closer to who their designed to be. I believe that if we are able to experience healing within ourselves, we can live in relationship with others more freely and authentically. My specialties include a variety of Marital and Relational Issues, Addictions (alcohol, drugs, pornography and sexual), Anxiety, Depression, Spiritual Issues, Sexual/Physical Abuse, Gender Identity, Financial Counseling and Codependency. I am also trained in highly researched methods such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples). I have a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Originally from New York, I also hold a masters degree in Software Engineering and have worked for the US Army before pursuing my passion for counseling more than 5 years ago. I am happily married for over 11 years and have two beautiful girls.
