Many feel overwhelmed at times with family life. Feeling that a child's problem is overwhelming or out of control. This can often lead to break downs in parenting or just relationships in the family. I have found over the years I help best when things look the worst and that many families have what it takes to change and make things feel more in control. I hope to help families and children feel like they can meet the challenges that life throws at them. I use play therapy, family therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy to help assess the issues that are causing distress and then promote change to improve the family life. My goal is to build and support families by looking at their strengths and building on that to meet their needs.
