As a Louisville, Kentucky native, I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. I have a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. I enjoy helping preteens, adolescents and adults with various life issues, along with mental health and substance abuse concerns. Working with females who exhibit self-harming behaviors is part of my specialty. I have special training in compulsive gambling, as well as special training for compulsive overeating, binge eating and other issues associated with unhealthy relationships with food. I am excited to offer a new comprehensive treatment program called Lifestyle Transformation for those who struggle with an unhealthy relationship with food. Long-lasting recovery is more than temporarily losing weight. Effective therapy addresses the underlying issues in creating a permanent lifestyle change. My approach to therapy is not one theoretical method, but rather, I individualize treatment for each client to provide excellent, customized therapy experiences. I believe therapy should be a solution-focused partnership between therapist and client.
