I believe that counseling and therapy are about teamwork and partnership. Together, we set goals and find solutions to the problems that concern you. My job includes helping you to find the right questions to ask yourself, as well as to give you information, feedback and tools to address your issues. I focus on strengths, as well as how to overcome any barriers to problem resolution. I check in with my clients often to make sure that they are getting what they need and we are making progress towards their goals. I can work with you on a wide range of issues such as anxiety; depression; stress; trauma; alcohol issues; adjustment to a medical diagnosis; relationships and any number of issues that bring a person to psychotherapy.. After more than 30 years of practice, I have a lot of experience helping people resolve these issues successfully. My approach is respectful and, at the same time, I challenge you to grow. I create a safe environment in which you can explore and resolve your issues in a way that is best suited to you. Feel free to contact me for more information or to set up an appointment.
