With 16 years experience working with children and families, previously as a school counselor, I now work as a Licensed Professional Counselor in a busy private practice in downtown Alpharetta. My therapeutic philosophy is based on the belief that a counselor's role is to empower clients with the tools to unlock their fullest potential. I love working with children of all ages as they strive to overcome their problems with solutions and become the best they can be. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches with a strong emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I have additional training in Child-Centered Play Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy,Trauma-Focused CBT, and Mindfulness.
