The therapeutic process allows individuals to gain a better understanding of the different factors that may be influencing their current state. I strive to help people discover their strengths and use them as tools to achieve their goals and create positive life changes. I believe that focusing on the here and now, while also being able to link past patterns to the present, is imperative to successful therapy. When working with younger children and adolescents, I enjoy using play and art therapy to aid them in expressing what they might not be able to put into words. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist trained at Edgewood College and have experience working with individuals, couples, families and group facilitation. When working with clients, I take into consideration all of the systems that may be influencing behaviors and how to best address these potential concerns. I work with adolescents and adults in individual, family and couples therapy. The majority of my experience is in providing therapy to adolescents and young adults with a range of concerns. I am also a PREPARE/Enrich facilitator, which provides couples an assessment of strengths and areas of growth.
