She is a licensed professional counselor. Her practice is an outgrowth of her experience as a therapist with a mental health/substance abuse agency for the past eight years. She is experienced in providing individual and group counseling as well as conducting comprehensive evaluations. Having education and training in psychology and counseling in areas of psychotherapy, integrative and eclectic therapy she encourages empowerment and personal growth. Parveen sees a wide range of clients focusing on life transitions, work/career issues, relationship issues, parenting support, anxiety, depression, stress management and illness. In a comfortable and nurturing atmosphere, Parveen provides a highly personalized approach to address a person's individual needs. My theoretical orientation is integrative combining cognitive behavioral, solution focused, mindfulness, stress management and insight oriented techniques. I utilize a strengths based approach. I am warm, empathetic and person centered. I provide feedback when appropriate and activities when desired.
