My theoretical and practical approach is Integrative Psychotherapy. Integrating a number of therapeutic approaches, including psychodynamic, transactional analysis, gestalt, and cognitive/behavioral, I focus on developing a sense of wholeness, both within self and in relationships. This may involve integrating past experiences, or aspects of self that have been lost, disowned or denied. Having lived in India for 18 years, I bring a cross-cultural awareness to my work. I have authored and co-authored several articles and books, including "BEYOND EMPATHY: A Therapy of Contact-in-Relationship" (Brunner/Mazel, 1999) and "Spirituality in Psychotherapy" (Transactional Analysis Journal, 2003)
