I will provide you with a safe place and work with you, beside you, as you work on becoming your true self. There is no judgment here--lest I be judged. I believe everyone is doing the best they can with the tools they have. Many of us are just in need of additional tools. I believe we are products of our families of origin and carry forward what we learned from them--healthy or unhealthy. If you're stuck, I'd like to help you get unstuck. Change is difficult, but possible. A sense of humor is a must. I have an interest and passion in working with the LGBTQ population. I believe this community faces challenges unique to them. While I see the needs of the entire LGBTQ community, I see the needs of the trans population as being especially under-supported. Everyone is a work in progress...make progress! In addition to being a therapist, I was also trained as a coach--and have been recently trained in EMDR, which is so healing! I try to integrate all of these elements into my practice.
