I specialize in working with children and teens who would like to have an easier time getting along with others. I help my clients improve the way they manage their feelings and make acceptable choices. All of my work is based on a foundation of respect for individual and family strengths and abilities. I provide a comfortable place for you to identify and explore those issues that may be getting in the way of happy family relationships. Every family has unique skills that they often don't recognize. Together we identify them and then fill in gaps with added skills. I have a special interest in supporting kids who have AD/HD or other learning challenges that affect their behavior and their social interactions. I also assist children and families who've experienced loss through death, divorce or transition. I am happy to consult with teachers, doctors and others when helpful.
