First and most importantly, I love what I do and respect and value the clients who choose to work with me. My counseling style is empathetic, supportive and active. I use the therapeutic relationship to aid in understanding the underlying needs, desires and fears that interfere with an individual's happiness and sense of fulfillment in life. I offer both traditional and experiential treatment options including play therapy for younger clients and Equine Assisted Psychology (EAGALA) for all ages. I believe in a systemic approach to change with a focus on empowering the individual. Each person has their own unique history & personal life experiences. Whether I'm working with an entire family, a couple, a teenager or a child, finding the treatment approach that works best in accomplishing the goal(s) is important to the therapeutic objective.Creating the environment for change is my purpose. The decision to begin therapy can be difficult and is a sign of wisdom not weakness. Taking the first step is often the most challenging. Let's talk about the possibilities.
