Therapy is a process where people feel safe and can communicate freely. My ideal client is either a child or family struggling with any type of issue whether it is behavioral, emotional or a recent loss. The ideal client is ready for change and wants to understand their own communication and behavior on a deeper level. My therapy aims to analyze both behavior and communication patterns as a means to facilitate change and growth. I work with children and families using traditional family and other counseling techniques. As well I have other competencies in helping children with special needs such as Autism Spectrum, ADD and Learning Disabilities. I also will work effectively with these children in a group therapy setting. I can attend IEP and other type school meetings. Social Skills Groups for children and adolescents with Autism, Learning Disabilities and ADD. Our combined therapy & social skills groups have existed for 10 years. We now have four separate groups serving Adults, Elementary School Children, High School Teens and Middle School Pre-Adolescents.
