In an atmosphere of warmth and acceptance, we all feel safer to open up, to consider new ways to find more ease and peace, more freedom and joy within ourselves, our relationships and our lives. I try to provide that kind of atmosphere, of caring and support, to help individuals open to this exploration and growth. Most of us have learned to be hard on ourselves, to feel distrustful in relationships and to lack confidence in our lives. Anxiety, depression, guilt, shame, low self-esteem, addictive tendencies, co-dependency and relationship problems are some of the common results. But we are all capable of changing the ways we perceive and relate to ourselves, to others, to our lives. I help people see what old ways are getting in their way ... and to find new ways of becoming kinder to themselves, closer with others, and more fulfilled in their lives. I've been a therapist for nineteen years, married for over thirty, and on my own "journey home" for nearly fifty. It's a great joy and honor for me to help others find their own "way home" - to themselves, to each other, and to all that their lives might be.
