I believe that most people who see a counselor are not psychologically abnormal. My clients are having normal reactions to a complex, stressful, ever-changing world. No matter the problem, people cope in the best way they know how. My job is simply to help you become more effective in your coping. I have extensive experience working with people who have experienced trauma. I've helped people move past events ranging from car wrecks to childhood abuse. Having trouble from a traumatic experience just means you need a little extra help to heal. I believe in helping my clients see results. My approach is very direct and honest, while maintaining warmth and a sense of humor. I work very hard to individualize treatment for every single client so that you can get the life you want and deserve.
