Anxious, Depressed, Overwhelmed? Is life feeling unmanageable? This complexity of experiences we all go through can feel challenging, stressful and confusing. In my work with adults, couples and older adolescents, I strive for clarity and relief of symptoms. As your counselor, I work to uncover the patterns in your life, help you develop a deeper awareness of who you are, and work with you to become more effective at creating a meaningful life that brings you happiness. I assist you in turning pain into possibility. Clients I enjoy working with struggle with: fear, anxiety,panick attacks; depression, lack of self-confidence, shame; past and present history of sexual-physical-emotional abuse; trauma;addiction; grief and loss; communication break downs with their loved ones, etc... My approach is informed by my training, my intuition, my interest in the mind-body connection and EMDR, a proven technique known to resolve acute issues of everyday life as well as deep seated trauma, abuse and PTSD.
