My treatment focus is helping patients discover the best in themselves. Self-knowledge is important to understand personal mysteries, such as, inadvertently repeating patterns that don't work. I provide a safe, caring, & confidential, therapeutic environment, where clients learn more about themselves, their strengths, & self-sabotaging patterns. Therapy patients benefit from learning to identify reactions, thoughts, & feelings. As a therapeutic "team," we search to understand & discover effective choices for dealing with life's challenges. My clients then experience more self-confidence, resulting in greater emotional freedom. Happier, more fulfilling lives, & satisfying relationships, ARE attainable goals. These changes, are what my patients & I work toward, together. I am a Certified EMDR Therapist & have used EMDR Therapy over the past 14 years to treat patients with: Anxiety Disorders; PTSD; Grief & Loss Issues; Traumatic Memories resulting from: Violence, Rape, Crime, Combat, Childhood Abuse and Sexual Abuse. EMDR Therapy is very effective for Abuse Victims & Trauma Survivors.
