Play is the primary means by which a child learns about and interacts with their world. Young children often do not have the language skills needed to express their thoughts and feelings, and therefore utilize play to express themselves. I utilize play techniques, behavior modification, or talk therapy to work with children in a way that is most conducive to the growth of their emotional and mental health. Additionally, I provide support and resources for parents who are experiencing difficulties or concerns regarding their child(ren). In addition to working with children and families, I enjoy working with women who are desiring to work toward developing healthier relationships, successful management for emotional distress, or a greater sense of who they are.
